캘빈 해리스(Calvin Harris)의 본명은 애덤 리차드 와일스(Adam Richard Wiles) 로 영국 출신의 프로듀서, DJ, 싱어송라이터입니다. 그의 일렉트로 하우스 장르 음악은 지금 들어도 너무 좋은데요. ‘Summer’, ’This Is What You Came For’, ‘Slide’, ‘Feels’ 는 지금도 제 플레이 리스트에 자리하고있습니다.
지난 해 캘빈은 Dua Lipa 와의 ‘One kiss’, Sam smith 와의 ‘Promises’, Benny blanco 와 ‘I found you’ 작업하며 그의 기록을 추가했습니다.
그런 그가 2019년 첫 곡을 영국의 Rag'n'Bone Man 과의 협업을 통해 여전히 그의 음악성을 증명했습니다. 또 그는 작년 11월, 팬들과 소통하며 자신의 현재 음악방향에 대해 말했는데, 놀랍게도 그는 EDM이 "내가 만들고 싶은 음악과 공통점이 전혀 없다"고 인정했습니다. 그리고 "2010-2014 EDM은 나에게 더 많은 영향을 끼쳤다”고 하며 앞으로 하우스 뮤직으로 놀라운 가수들과 음반작업을 할 예정이라고 했습니다.
